The Peugeot Traveller puts safety at the forefront with a handful of highly intelligent driving aids.
Using lateral ultrasound sensors to cover areas out of your field of vision along with the windscreen mounted camera, an LED illuminates in either side door mirror to alert to the presence of a car, lorry, motorbike or bicycle in your blind spot.
The system works when overtaking a slower vehicle or when overtaken by a faster vehicle. This intelligent feature operates from speeds as low as 15kmh right up to the maximum Speed Limit.
The Peugeot Traveller is equipped with 4 airbags, including 2 front airbags and 2 side airbags to comprehensively protect the heads of font passengers.
Thanks to the front and rear bumper sensors indicate the proximity to obstacles measured by the sensors, the driver receives differentiated front and rear audible alerts, as well as a view on the panel screen, which prevent from most of the accidents effectively.
When the vehicle is cornered at a certain angle with steering wheel, a pair of equipped and switched fog lights will corner at the same angle and direcion to enhance the brightness of the cornering road.
The lane departure warning is a system that detects the unintentional crossing of a traffic lane ground marking using a camera that recognises continuous or broken lines. To ensure safe driving, the camera analyses the image and, in the event of a decrease in the driver’s vigilance and a speed greater than 80 km/h, triggers a visual and audible warning if the driver veers off course.

The camera fitted at the top of the windscreen can detect and read speed limit and derestriction signs, and display them on the instrument panel. The system also uses speed limit information taken from the navigation system mapping.
